Growing up in a home filled with 80s pop, classic Bollywood, Urdu Ghazals, and even some country, Tara (whose name fittingly means “melody” in Urdu) was singing before she could talk.
Her brother once told her she had “too much soul,” which she’s not entirely convinced is a problem—but now she’s on a mission to infuse all that extra soul into every song she sings.
